Meet Holly, Your Local Pet Care Professional

A lady wearing Birddog Catwalk uniform and yellow wellington boots sits on a wall smiling at the camera.

Holly is the founder of Birddog Catwalk and leads our team with a lifelong passion for animals and their wellbeing. Her experience with pets began early, growing up with dogs, guinea pigs, mice and even a budgie, before going on to work full time at a busy boarding kennel and cattery in South Wiltshire. Caring for up to sixty dogs at a time taught her how to stay calm, organised and attentive even in lively environments, while still recognising the individual personality and needs of every animal in her care.

What Holly values most about pet care is the trust that develops between people and animals over time. She believes every pet has their own unique personality, and building that connection helps them feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether she is providing a dog walk, a drop in visit or overseeing an in home pet sit, her approach focuses on creating a calm and reassuring presence so pets can settle comfortably into their usual routines.

Holly also has particular experience supporting nervous and anxious pets. She uses gentle handling, calm body language and patience to help animals feel secure, whether that means sitting quietly with a nervous dog, speaking softly to a shy cat or taking time to reassure smaller animals who may be wary of someone new. For local pet owners, Holly’s approach offers peace of mind, knowing their pets are being cared for by someone who understands how important patience, trust and consistency are to every animal’s wellbeing.
